Introduction
Tresko ("we," "our," or "the app") is a hairstyle inspiration and personal style timeline app for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how it is stored, and your choices.
Information We Store on Your Device
Tresko keeps data locally on your iPhone unless you choose to share content outside the app. This may include:
- Account credentials generated during Quick Login (username and password stored in UserDefaults)
- Display name you set in Settings
- Hairstyle records — titles, notes, tags, dates, and record type (inspiration or timeline)
- Photos you capture or import, saved in the app's local file storage
- Voice notes you record, saved as local audio files
- Categories and folder organization you create
- Style Gems balance and unlock state (e.g., Favorites unlock, extra category slots)
- Session flags (login, logout, and first-use markers)
We do not operate a Tresko cloud account server for core app data. Your content remains on your device.
Permissions
Tresko requests system permissions only when you use the related feature:

You can deny any permission in iOS Settings. Denying camera, photos, or microphone limits only the related add-media actions.
In-App Purchases
Tresko offers Style Gems, a virtual currency sold through Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit). The store includes eight consumable packs (six standard price tiers plus two bonus tiers), listed from lowest to highest price.
- Payments are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details.
- Purchase history is managed by Apple under your Apple ID.
- Style Gems are stored locally as a balance on your device.
- There is no Restore Purchases feature for consumable gem packs.
Account and Deletion
- Quick Login creates or reuses locally stored credentials.
- Logout ends your session; you must tap Quick Login again after a cold start.
- Delete Account (Profile) permanently removes all local Tresko data, including hairstyles, categories, media files, gem balance, unlocks, and credentials.
Tracking and Analytics
If you allow tracking via the iOS App Tracking Transparency dialog, the app may use the advertising identifier for measurement and relevance as described in the system prompt. If you deny tracking, the app continues to work with on-device storage only.
We do not sell your personal information.
Children's Privacy
Tresko is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us at support@tresko.app.
Data Security
Because data is stored on your device, you are responsible for securing your iPhone (passcode, Face ID, etc.). Deleting the app or using Delete Account removes local Tresko data from that device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of Tresko after changes means you accept the updated policy.
